Better customer service at a self serve check out. The woman serving me yesterday (porky white-haired woman at the 12 items or less today and yesterday, not wearing her name badge) was rude in the extreme. From making me wait while talking to her friend for 3-4 minutes without apology while she was supposed to be working through to to piling up all my items at the end of the counter, telling me off for not specifically requesting a bag and then just throwing me the bag and waiting for me to pack it myself... she was dreadful.I would have let it pass without review, but she did the same thing to some old timer today, and even left the checkout while he packed his own bag.I don't know if being awful at customer service goes against Coles' policies, but pretty sure she should at least be wearing her name badge.If you see a portly, white-haired woman with a smug look on her face at the checkout, my advice is to choose another checkout. Even if it's busy, it will be worth the wait to avoid the aggravation.1 star because both days I asked for help finding an item, and both times was met with a frown and an angrily muttered response. The managers need to step up their game on hiring and training.Do yourself a favour and walk the extra minute or so to the IGA.

It must be good," because I always buy more bags due to all the extra specials I buy on top of what's on my list. Staff are great to.
Helpful staff who will either direct you or take you to what you are looking for. Good variety of groceries,fruit and vegetables,good variety at the deli also
